The Camera doesn't matter...

... it's your photographer's eye that does!

Yes, fancy cameras give us more options. Tons, even. But not having one of those $1,000 - $5,000 cameras should not stop you from still going out there and making your art. These are from my Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS. I like this camera a lot because of the bunch of point and shoots I've had, it takes the best quality pictures I've seen. It's small, about the size of a box of cigarettes and costs about $150-$200 depending who you buy it from.

Our Garden

Our Garden, per request. Our "former roomate" Natsu and her mom decided to create a garden for us in the backyard. I wish I had "before" photos, it use to just be a hot mess back there - some kind of wild, green monster. The previous owners had built a beautiful, slate paved floor with decorative concrete walls and a winding flower bed. But the months of neglect during the home's foreclosure process left the dirt unkept and ultimately, outstandingly green. Bunches and bunches of beautiful, green healthy grass has been replaced by this glorious little oasis. Both are nice in their own ways, but the latter much preferred and here's a little bit of what we have today.

Imagery: The Super Roses

Whoever owned my home before me had some kind of thing for roses. Very independent, don't-take-care-of-me, no need for water roses. These are my kind of flowers! These flowers have been flourishing despite my inability to care for plants. I went out back one day and decided to document their beauty, especially since these super plants don't seem to want to die anytime soon...
